Why I Created The Violet Ritual Society

When I first opened Violet + Vesta, my goal was to create a place where women could come to care for their skin and leave feeling a little more like themselves. Fifteen years later, I realize that's never really been the whole story.

One thing I've noticed after treating hundreds of faces is that women don't become loyal to a spa just because they get beautiful results. They become loyal because they feel like they belong there. Eventually, you stop feeling like someone's two o'clock appointment. You become Jacquelyn's client. Or Amanda's client. You know exactly where to hang your purse. We know if you like the table warmer on or not. We remember the vacation you were excited about six weeks ago, ask how the job interview went, and celebrate with you when life has something worth celebrating. We notice when you seem unusually quiet and instinctively know today isn't the day for conversation. You walk in the room like its your house, and jump under the covers just as nonchalantly as if it were your own bed.

I think we're all looking for places that feel like home because there’s something deeply comforting about being known. That level of safety and familiarity benefits your skin too.

When we care for your skin consistently, we stop treating each facial like an isolated event. Instead of trying to figure everything out from scratch, we're building on a shared history. We remember that your skin becomes dehydrated every winter. We know which ingredients consistently give you your best results. We notice subtle changes before they become bigger concerns because we've been paying attention all along. We pay attention so you don’t have to. We remove that little bit of stress from your shoulders. That continuity changes everything.

Your treatments become more personalized. Your home care becomes simpler. Your results become more predictable because they're guided by an ongoing relationship instead of a series of disconnected appointments. But if I'm being honest, that's still not my favorite part.

My favorite part is watching strangers become friends.

I've watched clients get engaged, get married, welcome babies, change careers, lose parents, celebrate milestones, navigate heartbreak, and step into entirely new seasons of life. There are women I've cared for every month for over a decade! These women stopped feeling like clients and started feeling like people I genuinely look forward to seeing. That's one of the greatest privileges of this work.

As I began reimagining the Violet + Vesta experience over the past several months, I kept coming back to one question.

How could I make that kind of relationship easier to create?

The answer wasn't another facial. It was creating a rhythm. That's why I created The Violet Ritual Society.

Yes, consistency leads to healthier skin. That's just plain fact. But I also believe consistency creates something else... It creates trust. It gives us the opportunity to truly know your skin, understand your goals, and care for you in a way that's impossible when months pass between appointments.

I also wanted being part of The Violet Ritual Society to feel genuinely rewarding.

Members enjoy thoughtful benefits throughout the year, including preferred pricing on retail and beauty enhancements, exclusive member perks, seasonal surprises, and experiences unique to each membership tier. Those benefits are meaningful, and I hope they make you smile, but they aren't the reason this Society exists. The real benefit can't be listed on a comparison chart.

It's walking into a place where you're known. Where your esthetician remembers your story. Where your skin has a history. Where caring for yourself stops feeling like something you squeeze into your schedule and starts becoming part of the rhythm of your life.

Beautiful skin is only part of what we create here. The Violet Ritual Society is about building relationships, creating rituals worth returning to, and making sure every time you walk through our door, it feels a little like coming home.

We can't wait to welcome you. Learn more here.
