Three Years of Violet + Vesta: A Love Letter to This Journey and You

Three years ago, I stood on the edge of everything I knew—with fear in my throat and fire in my chest.

2020 had cracked my world wide open. Between the chaos of COVID, meeting the man who would become my husband, getting married, and becoming pregnant, life was moving faster than I could process. By 2021, I was a new mother, still working for a business I had been loyal to for nine years, doing work that was familiar—but no longer fulfilling.

Something in me was shifting. The life I had previously now felt too small for who I was becoming.

I needed more—more freedom, more alignment, more room to be fully, unapologetically me. I was tired of feeling confined by other peoples’ rules. Tired of holding pieces of myself back just to stay in a version of comfort that no longer served me.

I felt like a prisoner in my own life. And the hardest part to come to terms with was that I was the one holding the key.

I kept telling my husband, again and again, “I can’t handle this anymore! I need OUT!” This had always been my pattern—stay safe, stay comfortable—until the pressure exploded into rebellion and I made a choice born of impulse rather than heart. But this time was different. The desire wasn’t chaotic—it was sacred.

He looked at me and said, “I know that whatever you put your mind to, you will accomplish, and I will be here to support you while you do it.”

His belief in me stirred something ancient in my bones. A remembering. A reclamation.

And so, I took the leap.

Not with a five-year plan—ha! Me?? Plan?? The concept has always been foreign to me. I didn’t need perfect clarity or a step-by-step path forward. Just the fire of a soul-level yes.

That yes became Violet + Vesta.

What began as a whisper of a vision grew into something real—something powerful. A business rooted in feminism, sacred rebellion, deep transformation, soul sovereignty, and the magnificent intersection of science + spirit. Through coaching, astrology, energy work, and the sanctuary of the spiritual spa, Violet + Vesta has become more than I could’ve ever imagined.

And along the way, it changed me too.

With every new client, every reading, every session—I felt my heart stretch wider. I found myself growing just as much as those I was guiding and serving. This business became a mirror, a sanctuary, and a living altar to my purpose.

In 2024, I took another leap and hired my first employee at the spa—Amanda. Her presence has been such a gift. She brings calm, clarity, and care to every client she touches. Watching her become a part of this vision has deepened the work in ways I couldn’t have done alone.

Three years in, and I still don’t know exactly what’s coming. Honestly? I don’t really care. I trust the path now. I trust myself now. 

There’s more to build. More to offer. More to become. (spoken like a true manifesting generator!)
