Competence can become a very convincing disguise.

Some people hide by avoiding responsibility. Others hide inside it. They become indispensable. The one who always has the answer. The one who remembers everyone's birthday, fixes everyone else's problems, volunteers for the extra project, keeps the family together, and somehow still apologizes for not doing enough.

Everyone calls them strong. Very few people notice they're exhausted.

Capricorn understands this dynamic better than any other sign. Its highest expression is wisdom, mastery, and integrity. Its shadow is believing your worth must be demonstrated before it can be received. Productivity becomes proof. Responsibility becomes identity. Achievement becomes the place you return whenever life feels uncertain.

This Full Moon shines directly into that strategy.

The emphasis is on strategy because that's exactly what it is. These patterns rarely develop because someone enjoys carrying the world on their shoulders. They develop because, at some point, carrying everything felt safer than needing someone else to carry you. It works beautifully for a time, but every adaptation has an expiration date. This Full Moon has a way of showing you where yours is.

That is why the astrology matters.

The Moon is in Capricorn, where she is in detriment according to traditional astrology. Many of us became exceptionally capable because capability felt safer than dependence. We learned to anticipate problems, manage emotions, exceed expectations, and earn our place. Those strategies may have been brilliant. They may have protected us when protection was necessary.

Eventually, they stop creating the life they were designed to create.

That is what this Full Moon reveals.

Fortunately, this isn't only about recognizing the pattern. The sky also shows us how to move through it.

Mars forms a supportive sextile to Jupiter, creating a current of momentum beneath all of this emotional and psychological excavation. Mars is the planet of action. Jupiter expands whatever it touches. Together, they favor movement over rumination. They reward the willingness to take one meaningful step, even if the entire path hasn't revealed itself yet. You don't need complete certainty to make a good decision. You need enough honesty to stop making decisions on behalf of a version of yourself you've already outgrown.

Only a few hours after the Full Moon, Jupiter enters Leo for the first time in twelve years, and that timing feels almost poetic.

The Full Moon exposes the strategy you've relied on to create safety. Jupiter immediately shifts into a sign that has very little interest in proving anything. Leo expresses because expression is part of its nature. It creates because creation is life giving. It leads because something authentic wants to be shared with the world.

Jupiter will spend the next year amplifying those themes. Confidence grows by being exercised. Creativity expands through use. Visibility becomes less about seeking validation and more about allowing your gifts to occupy the space they were always meant to fill.

Taken together, these transits tell a remarkably cohesive story. The Capricorn Full Moon reveals the identity built around competence, responsibility, and proving your value. Jupiter's entrance into Leo begins a new chapter centered on expression, creativity, generosity, and wholehearted participation in your own life.

The mountain is still there.

Your ambition may still be there.
